About Course

AIM Endocrine Module is a structured exam-focused course designed to help 2nd  year MBBS students master endocrine glands, hormones, feedback regulation, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, pancreatic islets, and hormonal control of body functions.

Course Content

🔬🟢 Station 1 — Detection of Glucose in Urine
Covers: Urine sample handling, glucose detection test, positive/negative result interpretation.

🔬🟢 Station 2 — Detection of Glucose in Blood
Covers: Blood/sample handling, blood glucose detection, interpretation of normal/high/low result.

🔬🟢 Station 3 — Glucose Tolerance Test
Covers: GTT procedure, timing of samples, glucose curve interpretation, normal vs diabetic pattern.

🔬🟢 Station 4 — Histology of Pituitary Gland
Covers: Identify pituitary gland under microscope; anterior vs posterior pituitary features.

🔬🟢 Station 5 — Histology of Adrenal Gland
Covers: Identify adrenal gland under microscope; cortex, medulla, adrenal cortical zones.
